We feel it is important to further our profession and assist those that might be interested in the Design Professional Fields. Here at Keystone we routinely work with Broome Tioga BOCES School To Work Program. The program allows students from local school districts to spend time at our office “shadowing” professionals, asking questions, interviewing staff, and participating in discussions. We do this in the attempt to help that student better understand at a young age whether to become an architect or engineer.
Keystone is currently sponsoring an Engineering Explorer Post organized by Baden-Powell Council, Inc., Boy Scouts of America. This Explorer Post helps local students (ages 14-20) explore career opportunities by introducing them to all phases architecture, engineering, and surveying fields. Students meet with Keystone’s professional staff and learn more about their specific job responsibilities.
